Thea by Kim Hargreaves
Mi sono fatta un prendere la mano dai KAL, da che mai a che due nello stesso mese. Il primo in assoluto è stato La Donna del Mistero, uno scialle di Emma Fassio…a proposito siamo già all’indizio 4….ancora un’altra settimana e lo scialle sarà pronto per essere indossato!
E il secondo KAL al quale sto partecipando è il NaKniSweMo, National Knit a Sweater in the Month of November, insieme alle amiche dell’omonimo gruppo su Ravelry e alle amiche italiane che si sono lanciate anche loro in quest’avventura promossa all’interno del gruppo di Yards of Yarn.
Durante questo KAL dovremo realizzare un maglione, pullover o cardigan sferruzzando 50.000 maglie durante il mese di Novembre. Vi starete chiedendo, perché proprio 50.000 maglie? 50.000 maglie perché 50.000 sono le parole che dovranno scrivere i partecipanti al NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) per completare il loro romanzo nel mese di Novembre.
Il modello che ho scelto per questo KAL è Thea di Kim Hargreaves e lo sto sferruzzando con il DK della New Lanark nel colore Russet.

I can definitely say that I got into the KAL mood. I had never join and KAL and this month I decided to join into two of them. My first KAL La Donna del Mistero, a shawl by Emma Fassio ….by the way we already got to clue 4…another wee and the shawl will be ready to wear!
The second KAL I joined is NaKniSweMo, National Knit a Sweater in the Month of November together with the knitters from the NaKniSweMo group on Ravelry and with the Italian knitters from the Yards of Yarn group.
During thi KAL we will have to knit a sweater, pullover or cardigan working 50,000 stitches in the month of November. You might be wondering why 50,000 stitches? The reason is that 50,000 are the words the participants to NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) will have to write to complete their novel.
The pattern I choose for this KAL is Thea by Kim Hartgreaves and I am knitting it with the New Lanark DK in the shade Russet.
Yesterday evening I finished the back totalising 14.691 stitches…
